Membuat Manisan Cabe



Panas terik mentari siang ini terasa menyengat... terlihat seseorang sedang memakan cabe begitu lahapnya. Wah.... terlihat gila memang... Cuaca panas, makan cabe? tak terbayangkan....

Selidik punya selidik ternyata, yang dimakan adalah manisan cabe, hehe... pantesan sepertinya begitu segar. Dalam benak, pengen banget aku makan manisan cabe, namun tidak tahu dimana aku harus membelinya.
Sore hari, saat sedang menonton TV ada ulasan tentang cara membuat manisan cabe, langsung aja aku posting nih cara membuat manisan cabe spesial, siapa tahu sobat-sobat ingin mencoba membuatnya juga....

Cara yang sederhana membuat manisan cabe adalah sebagai berikut :
  1. Siapkan cabe segar.
  2. Kupas dan buang bijinya sebersih mungkin.
  3. Tuangkan kapur sirih kedalam air, untuk merendam cabe, masukan cabe yang sudah di buang bijinya.
  4. Rendam cabe tersebut sekitar 12 jam.
  5. Setelah 12 jam, angkat dan tiriskan.
  6. Tuang gula pasir kedalam air dan didihkan, setelah itu masukan perasan jeruk nipis agar manisan lebih segar dengan rasa asam alami (perasan jeruk nipis ini berfungsi sebagai bahan pengawet alami).
  7. Masukan cabe kedalam air gula dan didihkan selama 30 menit.
  8. Angkat dan tiriskan.
  9. Agar lebih enak dan lezat, masukan cabe yang sudah rebus ke dalam Oven selama 1 jam.
  10. Agar rasa lebih mantap, lakukan peng-ovenan selama tiga hari berturut-turut dan setiap harinya cabe di oven selama 1 jam.
Prosesnya memang agak lama, namun untuk mendapatkan rasa manisan yang mantap dan segar memang harus melalui tahapan yang maksimal... hehe...
